"Y'know...I'm pretty boring. There isn't much to say about me..."
Patting a spot beside her, she said, "You can sit here if you want."
"...other than the fact that I love standing up. Yes that's me. Mr. On-His-Toes...but not because I'm nervous or anything. I'm not. I just like standing up. It's good for my back. I have a bad...spine. I have spine issues." He rambled off quickly.
Our current Post of the Moment is...
Cos stared at the strange girl and didn't move. He wasn't sure what to say, or if approaching her was a good idea. There was no desire within him to get zapped, killed, mutilated, or eaten by the freaky goings on. He wasn't exactly sure if whatever she was ate people, but he wasn't going to take any chances.
"So...." He said.
Previous P.O.M. Nominations...
Cos had sat quietly the whole time, meekly agreeing to everybodies deman...suggestions. He didn't have anything better to do, so why not sit around with the freaky girl? She could bet that if some freaky-deaky-hocus-pocus-on-crack (tm) went on, he'd be out of the room getting Amy before she'd be able to suck his soul out through his nose.
Harmony let herself be pulled down by Jeffrey,
wondering for a minute why. That was answered as the
first gunshot rang out across the store. You may
hear gunshots in movies and on TV, but to actually
hear one that close to you is a totally different
matter.
"Get us out of here," Harmony whispered harshly. She
no longer cared who saw her, or noticed any magic.
She did not want to die in these clothes.

As she took the first few tentitative steps, towards
the ladies room, Harmony felt very alone. It was as
if she was in a foreign country, all by herself.
Opening the door, she peered inside. There wasn't
anyone else there, but the artificial light, that the
fluro bulbs provided, did nothing to reduce the
alieness, she felt.
Shrugging to herself, she locked the door, before
making her way to the basin.
"Ewww!!" Harmony moaned as she had to force the blouse
from her body. The substance that she had rolled in
had stuck most of the blouse to her torso. After a
little effort, she had managed to force it off. She
looked at herself in the mirror, barely recognising
the image she saw. Her hair was a mess, she had
greenish brown splodges of goo, over most of her body
and the stench had if anything gotten worse.
Realising that she had to take off her skirt as well,
she quickly prayed that the lock on the door worked
properly and that her flock would never hear of this.
After shimmering out of her skirt, she started to wash
down her body with the items supplied by the other
girl. It was a hard task, the substance had congealed
like caramel and wasn't at all easy to get off. But
after a number of minutes she had rid herself of the
visual evidence at least. The smell, even if less
pungent, stayed. Noticing that there wasn't a shower
in this room, she only hoped that her magical
companion could transport her to one soon.
Harmony bent down to pick up her clothes and realised
that they had stuck to the floor. Pulling at them,
she almost stopped breathing when she heard the sound
of fabric tearing. Stopping her forceful pull, she
gently tugged at them, and succeeded in releasing them
from the floor. Holding them up, she was about to try
and wash them down, when she noticed that her blouse
had ripped down the front, rendering it practically
illegal in most states.
"No!" she cried, frantically trying to think of a way
to fasten it around her. All that succeeded in doing
was to widen the tear, making even the least modest
person think twice about wearing the garment in
public.
Tears fell from Harmony's eyes as she contemplated the
situation she was in. In a Wal- Mart, Basically
topless, stuck in a ladies room, smelling like
yesterday's garbage. For not the first time in the
last 10 minutes, she really wondered if someone
powerful hated her.
There was nothing else she could do.
"Jeffrey!" she whined, "Can your friend repair clothes?"

As Harmony walked away from the kitchen, she calmed
herself down. She was getting way to caught up in all
of this. Afterall, she had started the whole thing by
telling Xander about Aidan kissing Cordelia. She
hated that Jessica Anderson could get under her skin
like that. Did she really care that Cordelia and
Xander would break up? She couldn't care less. But
the fact that Jessica looked like she would end up
with Xander, something that Jessica wanted, made her
blood boil. The other point, that she had actually
started to enjoy talking to Jessica, was something
that her brain didn't want to process at present. It
was too busy dealing with the cold hard emotion of
hate.
Her first thought was to call Cordelia and tell her
what was going on. That or go and see her. But
remembering that Cordelia had not answered the phone
when she tried to call her previously, Harmony decided
against roaming through the city looking for her.
There were too many dangers at night, for that to be
done by herself.
Realising that she had no reason for staying at the
Madisons, Harmony decided to go home. Even though her
place was only across the road, she did not want to go
over by herself. She had learnt a few safety rules
for living on the hellmouth, and being a single serving
was not one of them.
As she entered the hall, she saw Jeffrey and a girl
she had seen earlier, standing very close.
'Weird. I thought he was with Willow,' Harmony
thought.
She walked softly up to them, a little nervous about
asking Jeffrey to walk her hom. While he didn't
exactly like her, he had saved her from the psycho
woman earlier.
Stopping a few feet behind them, Harmony reached out
and lightly touched Jeffrey on the shoulder.
"Excuse Me," she said softly.
Suddenly she felt her body start to act weirdly, as if
it was .... well she couldn't explain it, but it
scared her no end.
"Help!!" she yelled, but like her body, the word
seemed to melt into the background.
Before she could say anything more, she suddenly felt
normal again. And that is when the smell hit her. It
those first few seconds she was more mortified than
she had ever been in her life. She wondered about who
was looking down on her, paying her back for all the mean
thinigs she had ever done. Surely whatever she had
done in her life, did not mean that she deserved
this.
As she tried to get up, she fell back down again,
slipping as she tried to gain her balance. Her hand
felt something soft and squelchy. Putting that
thought out of her mind, she tried again, this time
more carefully. She climbed up and hoistered herself
over the edge of the industrial bin. Pieces of
newspaper and other rubbish clung to her, stuck to her
clothes by some foul smelling liquid. She could feel
the tears starting to wash out of her eyes, but it
wasn't till she saw where she was that she finally let
the emotion run forth. Glancing up at the sign, of
the store in front of her, she almost collasped to the
pavement.
The 'Wal-Mart' sign glowed softly in the night. It
was enough to send Harmony over the edge. Holding her
head in her hands, the smell of the rubbish that had
stuck to her clothes, overpowering her senses, she
started to cry.

"Cos is a big... JERK!"
Aidan had been almost asleep when the Slayers came in
and started talking about Cosmo. Aidan hated Cosmo.
Almost as much as he hated... um... anyone else that
he hated. He was sure there had to be someone. His
cloudy mind couldn't pick a name right now, though.
"Oh, yeah," he mumbled, remembering someone. "Sharon.
She's the one I really hate. She was so mean to me."
Raising his voice, he added, "But I hate Cos, too. He
hit me, and Faith didn't do anything to stop him..."
Aidan sat up, and his bleary eyes turned on the
Slayers. There was a really sad droop to his eyes and
mouth, as his pain pill-induced state encouraged him
to say some of the things that had been weighing him
down for so long.
"I couldn't believe you didn't do anything to stop
him, Faith," Aidan said sadly. "I would never abuse
you like he said I did..."
He sighed deeply, almost losing his balance in the
process. "But now you're hurting, too, and that's bad.
I wish no one ever had to hurt again. Hurting is
really, really, really, really bad. Really bad."
Aidan frowned, thinking of all the people who had hurt
other people lately. The numbers were growing, and he
really didn't like that.
